Create Smart Lists for Medpaid Orders

Medpaid automatically tags orders so you can quickly separate Pay with HSA/FSA vs Reimbursement, and track Refunded orders when a refund is issued through Medpaid.

Saved Views (Smart Lists) by Tag

Make one saved view for each Medpaid order type so your Orders page has clear tabs.

Step 1 — Pick the tag you want to track

Medpaid applies “type” tags to help you instantly understand what happened on each order:

Tag chip: Pay with HSA/FSA
Pay with HSA/FSA
Checkout transaction using Medpaid Pay with HSA/FSA.
Tag chip: Reimbursement
Reimbursement
Order tracked under Medpaid reimbursement flow.
Tag chip: Refunded
Refunded
Refund issued through Medpaid (easy refund tracking).
How to use: Create a saved view for each tag so you can toggle between tabs like “Pay with HSA/FSA”, “Reimbursement”, and “Refunded”.

Step 2 — Create a saved view (Smart List)

  1. Go to Orders.
  2. In the search bar, type the tag name you want to filter by (example below).
  3. Click Save (top right).
  4. Name the view after the tag (ex: Pay with HSA/FSA, Reimbursement, or Refunded).
Example search value:
medpaid-hsa
(Repeat the same process for Reimbursement and Refunded.)

Medpaid tags appear directly in your Shopify Orders feed for quick visibility.

Reporting tip

If you’re running reports, these tags can help you quickly isolate Medpaid transactions by type (Pay with HSA/FSA vs Reimbursement) and track refunded orders.

If you don’t see tags on recent orders, contact Medpaid support so we can confirm your integration is active.
